The Ancient Wisdom of Rumi

Rumi was a 13th Century Sufi mystic and poet, and in my opinion, something of a philosopher, whose words, to this day, inspire, uplift, and serve as a guiding light in an age of apathy and indifference. I’ve found his work to be breathtaking in its wisdom, and with a few of his quotes, hope to share something of his wisdom with you…

“Your acts of kindness are iridescent wings of divine love which linger and continue to uplift others long after your sharing.”

“Listen with ears of tolerance. See through the eyes of compassion. Speak with the language of love.”

“Respond to every call that excites your spirit.”

“Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.”

“Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames.”

“Never lose hope, my heart. Miracles dwell in the invisible.”

“You have within you more love than you could ever understand.”

Strange how the words of a man born 800 years ago are just as inspirational today as they were when he said them…
